The five-day Aeromodeling Workshop organized at Vidyopaasana Education Trust brought together about 15 enthusiastic students from nearby government schools. Guided by Mr. Uttam Yadav and planned by Mr. Mahit Warhadpande, the workshop introduced participants to the fascinating world of aerodynamics and model airplane construction.
Through a series of hands-on sessions, students learned to design and build wooden aircraft models while exploring core scientific and mathematical principles. The highly interactive sessions helped children shed their inhibitions and engage wholeheartedly in team activities, experimentation, and creative thinking.
The workshop concluded with an exciting fun competition, where the students’ creations were evaluated based on flight displacement. Winners were awarded for their outstanding performance and innovative designs.
The closing ceremony was graced by Dr. Balakrishna Aiva, whose inspiring address emphasized the importance of offering such experiential learning opportunities in rural areas to nurture scientific curiosity and critical thinking among young minds.
This initiative not only kindled an early interest in science and engineering but also demonstrated the joy of learning through exploration and hands-on creativity.
